Founded in 1973 in England as a small family business, Gallery Direct has become a leading British designer, manufacturer and global distributor of furniture, home decoration, lighting and accessories, committed to offering a complete home furnishing solution. In 2014, Gallery acquired Frank Hudson, a manufacturer of fine furniture since 1947. Frank Hudson's bedroom, luxury dining room and furniture offerings have been simplified and updated from time to time, while preserving the heritage of high-quality furniture.

In September 2015, Gallery expanded its expansion to include Dreamworks Beds Ltd, bed and mattress specialists. The vertical integration of a production facility has enabled Gallery to offer a wide range of custom products from mattresses to sofa beds in a short time.
