RAY DECOR AKFIX 960P

Akfix 960P is a professional, single-component polyurethane adhesive foam with minimal expansion. It is suitable for mounting thermal insulation boards and bonding various construction materials.

Thanks to its strong adhesion to XPS and metal, the foam can be used to secure aluminum profiles within the channels of decorative XPS cornices. Minimal expansion reduces the risk of lifting, shifting, or deforming properly fixed elements.

Applying Akfix 960P requires a standard polyurethane foam gun, which allows for precise control of the application amount.

• bonding aluminum profiles to XPS decorative cornices;

• installation of XPS and EPS boards;

• fixing thermal insulation panels;

• bonding wooden construction elements to concrete, metal, and other suitable substrates;

• installation and insulation around door and window frames;

Instructions for use:

Surfaces must be sound, clean, and free from dust, grease, rust, and other contaminants. To bond an aluminum profile to an XPS cornice, apply a thin bead of foam into the channel, position the profile, and secure it until initial curing occurs.

Approximate consumption:

One package of Akfix 960P is sufficient for approximately 30–50 linear meters when applying a single thin bead using a gun. Consumption depends on the bead thickness, temperature, and humidity during application.
