Akfix 320C is a white, water-based acrylic adhesive specially developed for installing decorative cornices, skirting boards, and polystyrene panels. It is suitable for bonding, joining, and fine sealing of XPS decorative cornices.

It features high initial bond strength and contains no solvents that could damage the structure of the XPS material. Once dry, it can be painted along with the cornice, wall, and ceiling.

Areas of application:

bonding XPS decorative cornices to walls and ceilings;

joining individual elements to one another;

filling and smoothing small gaps between cornices;

sealing the edges between the cornice, wall, and ceiling;

finishing joints at inner and outer corners;

installing decorative polystyrene panels and elements;

bonding plasterboard and other lightweight decorative materials;

bonding to suitable substrates such as plaster, brick, concrete, and plasterboard;

Key properties:

specifically designed for polystyrene decorative cornices;

high initial adhesion of up to 120 kg/m²;

suitable for vertical and horizontal application;

water-based;

solvent-free;

odorless;

white color;

paintable after drying;

suitable for installation and filling small joints;

packaging: 310 ml.

Estimated consumption rate:

One 310 ml cartridge is sufficient for approximately 4–6 linear meters of cornice, assuming the application of two adhesive beads and the treatment of joints. Consumption depends on the size of the cornice, the evenness of the substrate, the thickness of the applied beads, and the number of joints.

Instructions for use:

Surfaces must be sound, clean, dry, and free of dust. Apply the adhesive in continuous beads along the contact edges of the cornice. Position the cornice as desired and press it firmly against the wall or ceiling.

To finish the joints, apply a small amount of adhesive into the gap, remove the excess, and smooth the surface before a skin forms. Once fully dry, the cornice and the treated joints can be painted.
